We will be happy to provide a Dove Release service tailored to your wishes; however the suggestions below are our most popular requests.

Free Spirit...
1 single White Dove to be released at an appropriate time in recognition of the departing spirit. The Dove could be on display prior to release, or housed in an enclosed basket until released. You can chose to release the Dove by hand, or simply open the basket and watch as the Dove returns home.

Escort Home...
2 Doves are sent along side the dove representing the departed soul. You may wish to have family members or friends release the doves, symbolizing the support of the family in escorting the departed spirit home.

We can supply up to 150 Doves upon request.

Holy Trinity...
3 White Doves are released from a basket in recognition of The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost.
Some Families wish to release a single White Dove followed by The Holy Trinity.

Our charges for attending a funeral start at just £75 for a single dove, £90 for 3 Doves from our local area (Porth, Pontypridd, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Vale of Glam). Extra discounts apply for families who have lost a person under the age of 17. We will also give extra discounts for Doves that are ordered for release by children under 10 years old who have lost a parent.

All our prices quoted include the cage(s) and baskets decorated appropriately and a poem which is written by us specifically for your loved one, after a dicussion with you.

It is appreciated that short notice will be inevitable in these circumstances; we will do our utmost to accommodate your request with 24 hours notice.

Some families get together on the anniversary of the passing of their loved ones, to remember them, place flowers, say a prayer and release Doves as a token of remembrance. It brings comfort to those who feel a message is being sent to their dearly departed, to let them know they are being thought of.

Others like to celebrate the Birthday of a loved one that has passed away. This can be done in a solemn tradition, or as a celebratory birthday party at the graveside. In fact, it is becoming increasingly popular for family and friends to enjoy some wine/champagne and birthday cake in honour of the person that is missed. This is a great way to remember someone - especially if that person was fun loving. Releasing Doves after a reading or poem and a toast seems to be an uplifting way of remembering someone special.

Please call us to discuss this and we will be happy to give you some examples of the wonderful graveside Birthday celebrations we have had the privilege of attending.

Honour and celebrate the life of a loved one by releasing a beautiful white dove.

This is said to symbolize the departing spirit, watching it fly off to find peace, serenity and as many believe – a new beginning. Some people find meaning in releasing 3 white doves in recognition of the holy trinity, whilst others find comfort in releasing a dove from the hands of close family members; eg. children or grandchildren.

One or all the doves could be on display outside the church/chapel, or at the graveside prior to the release. You can choose to liberate the Dove(s) by hand or straight from their baskets. We can liaise with your funeral director on your behalf if you wish, or we can release the Doves for you. You may wish to say a few words at the time of release, ask the official conducting the ceremony to incorporate an appropriate extract from the bible that makes reference to the Dove; alternatively we can provide an appropriate short verse or poem for you. that we are happy to read on your behalf.

We will never send our Doves directily to the Funeral Director, you, or Cemetery/Crematorium; They are always accompanied by us until you are ready to release them. We handle the Doves and pass them to you when you are ready. This way you can be confident that the Doves will not fly off until you are ready for them to do so.

We strongly advise against using any company that will send birds for self release; even if you do manage to keep them from flying off too soon, the service will not have the same impact as when it is carried out by a professional. If booking Doves through your funeral director, please ask if they are using a company that will have trained staff present at the service to protect the Doves.

There are people around that will "drop off a box of birds" to the funeral home the night before the funeral...this is unacceptable in our view both for the welfare of the doves, and the professionalism of the service. This does happen, so be aware.

"Hi Lynne and Rod, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for your service and the release of "Mary" my Mum's dove.. at her funeral in Weston Super Mare ... on the 15/5/09 she had such a touching service, and the beautiful cage, and stunning white dove just made it so special... she would of been so proud ...the email after to say Mary got home safe and sound was even more amazing as it put my mind to rest.... your poem was simply beautiful, it felt like it was written for me to my Mum, and for that lynne I thank you from the bottom of my heart, because as that time, I couldn't find the words I needed to express my emotions.. I'll miss my Mum everyday, as I'm sure all your clients do who use your doves for such events .the loss of a loved one never heals truely, but your service makes the final goodbye special... a sense of pride filled my heart as Mary flew away... I imagined my Mum's spirit was flying away with "Mary"... FREE at last from the struggle of everyday life.. living with the condition she did. Well done Rod, you were so lovely to me... THANK YOU both so much God bless you both"
